Ship Wreck
I went back to this location on the Oregon Coast several times wanting to capture the wreck of the Peter Iredale in its best light. This ship ran aground in 1906. During heavy fog, strong winds and a powerful ocean current, the ship was pushed off course and into the sand and breakers at the mouth of the Columbia River. All on board survived.
